Lockhart was never born with a left-hand, which is why she's what she is. It's just not the whole story. Lockhart's Instagram page doesn't overlook the fact that she has a disability. But it also doesn't insist on the issue. The point? It's crucial to understand that we all have many faces, our identities vary and we're much greater than the bodies we wear. Lockhart, via video messages from his Nashville home, states that I do not want that to be a part of me. I'm much greater than the physical person I am. The issue doesn't affect my everyday activities. I conduct doing my job as normal and have come up with my own methods to adjust. It's an integral part of my life, and it's imperative to discuss the subject. Self-acceptance is a lifelong marathon however Lockhart truly inspires me in this regard. Still, she admits that she went through a series of phases regarding her appearance, feeling uncomfortable in certain situations wearing outfits that showcased her arms. It's her choice to wear what she wants, and she is proud to share photos of herself wearing these clothes. The key to self-love for her is that it's not an end place to go. That's true of everyone regardless of how much they are afraid. It is important to have people around you who are aware of and understand you. They will be the ones to ask your: What are you worry about?
