She was the wife of actor Tony Curtis from June 1951 to September 1962 and she was the mom of Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was caught by actress Norma shearer who signed her a contract join MGM in the late 1940s. Her role as Norma was featured in various popular films throughout time, like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho which was released in 1960 as well as Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film which was released in 1954.
