Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress, is well-known for her performances as Dr. Sydney Hansen in NBC's drama Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. In addition, she received high praise for her first television role as a character on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. Some of her most notable films are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch.
